2.Proper Burning
- Place on stable, level surface
- Avoid drafty areas
- Never leave unattended
What are some tips for the First Burn?
For optimal performance, allow your candle's initial burn to create a full melt pool reaching the jar's edges. This prevents tunneling and maximizes burn time.
After each use:
After each use:
- Trim wick to ¼" if carbon buildup occurs
- Ensure complete wax melt on first lighting
What are our wicks made from?
Our candles feature 100% natural fiber wicks that maintain themselves as they burn. Occasionally, you may notice a small carbon deposit ("mushrooming") at the wick's tip – this is simply unburned carbon buildup.
For optimal performance:
- Allow the candle to cool completely
- Gently trim any carbon deposits
- Relight and enjoy
- Designed for effortless, clean burning.
How do we scent our candles?
Our fragrances blend naturally derived, plant-based oils—meticulously sourced and free from parabens, phosphates, and phthalates (the "three P's" you’ll never find here).
We infuse each candle with the highest recommended fragrance load for a rich aroma. If the scent seems faint, your nose may have simply adapted—step out for 15 minutes and return to rediscover the fragrance.

Candle Trouble shooting:
Why is there a big hole in my candle?
A big hole in the candle is what we call “Tunneling”.
A tunnel, or uneven wax burn, occurs when a candle doesn’t melt fully to the edges during its first few burns. This happens if the candle isn’t allowed to burn long enough (typically 2–4 hours) to form a full melt pool.
How to fix it?
- Use a hairdryer to gently melt the wax surface until even.
- Wrap the jar in foil, leaving a small opening at the top. This reflects heat to help melt excess wax.
Why does my candle have droplets of water/oil on the surface? ("Sweating")
This natural occurrence, called "sweating," happens when fragrance oil separates from the wax due to temperature fluctuations. It's most common in pure, additive-free waxes.
While harmless, you can gently wipe the droplets with a clean cloth before lighting. To minimize sweating, store candles in a cool, stable environment.

How can I maximize the scent throw of my candle?
To ensure the best fragrance performance from your candle:
1.Choose the Right Space
1.Choose the Right Space
- Burn your candle in a medium-sized room with minimal drafts to allow the scent to disperse evenly.
- Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn (2–4 hours) to prevent tunneling and maximize scent release.
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to ensure a clean, even burn.
- Keep the candle away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve fragrance integrity.
- Store with the lid on when not in use to maintain scent strength.
